There are numerous cleaning processes involved in today’s restoration and conservation of buildings, statues,vehicles, various equipment etc.

Some of them involve sanding, grinding, brushing, soda blasting or using chemicals. This means spending hours of tedious work with partially imperfect cleaning results.

PolarTech dry ice cleaning technology provides a substitute to all of these methods by using one single machine. It can be very gentle or aggressive depending on the application. PolarTech technology is non-abrasive but still a very fast cleaning operation for a multitude of applications within restoration and conservation.

Up to 85 % reduction in cleaning time has been achieved by using dry ice blasting. No need for chemicals or solvents for the benefit of employees. PolarTech technology is not creating secondary waste so clean-up and waste disposal costs are minimized. Dry ice blasting is a completely dry process so therefore no damage to underlying surfaces or surroundings.
